Overview Join entomologist Connor Butler for a guided walk through Wandsworth Common, where you’ll learn how to find, observe, and identify insects. This guided walk will take you through a variety of habitats including meadows, grasslands and woodlands as we uncover the incredible diversity of insects hiding in plain sight. You’ll learn how to use a hand lens and sweep net, how to search for and observe insects in the wild, and pick up tips for identifying different insect families. Whether you're a total beginner or already curious, this walk is a great way to slow down, look closer and appreciate the tiny creatures that keep our ecosystems ticking.
